The SYSTEM 860 Automated Dissolution Sampling System is comprised of the LOGAN D-800 Automated Dissolution Tester, and an SCT-152 Sample Collector. These modules are controlled by a "Touch Screen" Programmable Controller, and up to 7 sets of test protocols can be stored. An advanced model is also available with an IBM-compatible PC control system.

The LOGAN Automated Dissolution Sample Collection software program (ADSC) controls the entire test run. The LOGAN SYSTEM 860 Automated Dissolution Sampling System assures collection and replacement of media with high volume accuracy at every time interval. The system also can be programmed to clean itself before and after a test.

In operation, a lab technician loads the samples onto the auto-dropping tray. The screen display prompts the technician to drop the samples and the samples will fall into the vessels simultaneously.

There are 3 different types of collectors available, with sipper and septa.
